Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arnoldo Riddle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abbas Yamadaev!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamadaev lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Riddle circles away quickly and effectively.
Riddle is looking to counter punch.
Riddle has a takedown stuffed.
Yamadaev is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A bone on bone clash there as Riddle blocks the leg kick.
Riddle wants to clinch up but Yamadaev keeps it at a distance.

Yamadaev closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Riddle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Yamadaev wants the takedown. Riddle is fighting it off but Yamadaev persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Riddle's guard against the cage.

Yamadaev got a little sloppy there for a moment and Riddle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yamadaev has managed to get both his arms back between Riddle's legs - danger averted.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yamadaev can do anything to dispel that myth.

Yamadaev is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Riddle defends well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yamadaev closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Riddle to the mat! Riddle manages to get full guard.
Yamadaev is standing up over Riddle. Riddle looks to escape but Yamadaev dives into side control.

Riddle misses with a takedown attempt - Yamadaev sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arnoldo Riddle. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Yamadaev closes the distance and clinches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Riddle tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Yamadaev defends well and Riddle ends up having to push Yamadaev into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Riddle closes the distance and clinches up with Yamadaev, looking for a takedown. Riddle pushes Yamadaev against the cage but Yamadaev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Arnoldo Riddle will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Arnoldo Riddle overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Yamadaev passes easily into side control. Nice work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
