The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Love loads up on a big right hand but Mutku slips the punch.
Mutku looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Love is fending him off so far but Mutku persists. Nope, Love circles away and we're back to standing.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mutku working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Love has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mutku is working away from the top position though.
Mutku is nestled in close to Love , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Love shoots in for a takedown but Mutku shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mutku tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Mutku lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Love quite badly. Love pulls Mutku in close trying to recover. Mutku postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Love on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Love doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
