The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xyd just misses with a punch to the body.
Xyd with a jab.
Xyd lands with a good body shot.
Xyd leaves Penn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Xyd fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Penn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Penn has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Talu's Boxing Club in the buildup to the fight.
Zyd Xyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Xyd lands with a good body shot.
Penn is breathing heavily.
Penn misses with a takedown attempt - Xyd sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Xyd is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Penn with a body shot.
Xyd has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xyd lands a big head kick that sends Penn tumbling to the mat! Xyd takes a step backwards and waves Penn back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like JB Penn has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Xyd steps in with a hook that catches Penn right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Xyd follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Penn looks absolutely devastated.
