The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neuton closes the distance and clinches.
Holiday tries to pull guard but Neuton won't allow it.
Neuton misses with a short punch on the inside.

Holiday has Neuton pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Holiday pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Neuton tumbling to the mat - Holiday dives into Neuton's guard.

Neuton dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Holiday. That did some damage!

Neuton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Holiday defends it nicely.

Neuton tries to keep at a distance but Holiday has taken the fight into the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Holiday seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neuton tries to clinch up
and Holiday counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Neuton is looking to clinch.
Neuton tries to close the distance and clinch but Holiday swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Holiday's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Neuton is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Holiday dives into side control.

Neuton trying to control but Holiday flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Holiday really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Neuton.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holiday is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Holiday gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Holiday gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Holiday apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Isaac Neuton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Neuton has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Holiday is on him like a limpet, forcing Neuton back against the cage.

Neuton is trying to push Holiday away but Holiday has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Holiday jumps guard but Neuton stands there with Holiday around his waist. Holiday gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Neuton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Holiday manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Neuton bucks up and tries to throw Holiday off but instead Holiday has got his back!
Holiday is riding his opponent, not letting Neuton buck him off.
Holiday seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Neuton for as long as he can get away with.

Holiday just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
