Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bobby Whittaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Allan Kurma!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Kurma tenderised Whittaker's leg. Whittaker is trying to keep his angry face on.
A head kick from Kurma lands but Whittaker takes it in his stride.
Whittaker tries to close the distance and clinch but Kurma swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Whittaker fails with the takedown.
Kurma lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kurma buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kurma throws a nice inside leg kick.

Kurma swats away the attempt to clinch by Whittaker.

Kurma comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Bobby Whittaker has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Allan Kurma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kurma throws a front kick that sends Whittaker stumbling back into the cage.

Whittaker is rocked!
Whittaker drops his hands momentarily and Kurma needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Whittaker just on the top of the head. Whittaker drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Whittaker - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Allan Kurma!
