Gordon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Gordon is pulling down on Rossi's head to control his posture.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Gordon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rossi controls the pace.

Gordon manages to escape and get back to his feet.

and Rossi counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Bennett Gordon has been cut.
Horrible takedown attempt by Gordon or perhaps it was just good defense by Rossi, which made it look bad.
Gordon shoots in for a double leg but Rossi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gordon is breathing heavily.

Rossi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gordon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gordon tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Gordon dives in for a single leg takedown but Rossi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Rossi tightens his grip and picks Gordon up, before dumping him to the ground. Gordon manages to land in guard.

Gordon throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rossi escapes and throws Gordon's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Gordon wants to get back to his feet but Rossi drags him back down.
Rossi advances to full mount.
Rossi looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Gordon covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
