The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Philips lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rocambole circles away quickly and effectively.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rocambole is defended easily by Philips.
Rocambole misses with a two punch combination.
Philips throws a nice looking combination but Rocambole bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Philips throws a right and a left that Rocambole avoids nicely.
Philips lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Rocambole shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Philips but Philips pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Philips cracks Rocambole with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Rocambole fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ronald Philips has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leonard Rocambole.
Rocambole closes the distance looking to clinch

and Philips counters with a nice right hand that sends Rocambole toppling to the canvas! Rocambole scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Philips finish him?!
