The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price scores with a takedown into Church's guard.
Church has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Price off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Price instigates a clinch.
Church tries to break the clinch but Price is controlling the position.
Price with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Carlos Church has been cut.
Price stalling the fight.
Church jumps into guard, dragging Price to the mat.

Church ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Church no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Price drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Church dives on top into guard.

Church loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

so Church counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Price wants to sweep but no luck.
Church might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Church lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Church's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Price is trying to hold Church in close to prevent damage but Church has managed to pass into half guard.
Price is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That was a close round but I would say that Carlos Church will probably get the nod.

Price thows a leg kick but Church checks it
and Church counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Price wants to control the position but Church says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Church working over Price with some ground and pound. Price looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Church blocks the strikes from Price.
Price is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Church is tapping! Great win for Price!
