Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anibal Hogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thomas Katzarian!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katzarian is looking to chop away at Hogan's legs.
Hogan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hogan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Katzarian swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Katzarian tries to clinch up
and Hogan counters with a one-two to the body.
Katzarian is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hogan is looking for a counter combo.
Katzarian tries to clinch up but Hogan circles away and keeps his distance.
Katzarian tries to clinch but Hogan moves out of range.
Katzarian does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hogan thinks about countering with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Katzarian misses with a looping right.
Hogan throwing a counter right hand but Katzarian manages to avoid it.
Katzarian fails in his attempt to clinch.
Katzarian doesn't manage to clinch there - Hogan circles away.
Hogan appears to be looking for a big counter.
Hogan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Katzarian is looking to clinch but Hogan is avoiding it.
Hogan avoids the body shot from Katzarian.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Katzarian tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hogan counters with a series of strikes. Katzarian will be more careful next time no doubt.

Hogan gets the takedown into side control.
Hogan trying to control the position but Katzarian is working away.
Hogan throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Hogan working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
The ground and pound from Hogan seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Katzarian tries to control but Hogan manages to take his back.
Hogan misses with punches from the back.
Katzarian looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Hogan is working the ground and pound. Can Katzarian escape?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Katzarian is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Hogan.

Katzarian is looking to escape here. Oh dear - Hogan has locked on a rear naked choke here! Katzarian is tapping out! The fight is over!
