Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasylis Tryfon (ranked 2879 p4p, 120 weight class) and Suan Parades (ranked 4268 p4p, 173 weight class). Suan Parades will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tryfon shoots and misses
and Parades counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tryfon looks to land a combination but Parades avoids it well.

Tryfon has Parades pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Parades manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Parades feints a jab promting Tryfon to slip. Parades then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tryfon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Parades throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tryfon blocks it with crossed arms.
Parades will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tryfon up against the cage.

Tryfon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tryfon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Parades's waist but Parades gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tryfon off to one side.

Tryfon will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Parades wanted to stand there but Tryfon had control of the position.

Tryfon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Parades's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Parades holds on and takes a little breather.

Tryfon wants to take a breather but Parades is having none of it.
Tryfon not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tryfon has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Parades defend it? Tryfon steps over the head and cranks it - Parades is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Tryfon!
