The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Declan connects with a looping right hand.

Declan throws out a loose jab but Sklemin uses good head movement to avoid it.

Declan throws a wild body kick that Sklemin sees coming a mile off.

A decent looking cross lands there for Sklemin.
Sklemin throws a hook to the side of Declan's head but Declan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sklemin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Declan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Sklemin is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Sklemin throws a punch but it's blocked by Declan.
Declan cracks Sklemin with a nice body shot.
Declan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sklemin backwards.

Declan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sklemin clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Declan is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Sklemin. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Sklemin looks winded!
Declan is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Declan gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Declan gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Declan apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Declan throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Declan loads up on a big right hand but Sklemin slips the punch.
Sklemin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Declan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Declan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sklemin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Aedan Declan will probably get the nod.

Sklemin has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Declan is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Aedan Declan tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
