Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eusebio Zapata (ranked 3034 p4p, 370 weight class) and Top Heavy (ranked 2866 p4p, 384 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Top Heavy!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Zapata.
Zapata misses with a looping left.
Heavy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Heavy lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Heavy trying to control the position from guard on top but Zapata is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Heavy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Zapata on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zapata tries to get out of the position.
Heavy advances to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heavy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Zapata knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Heavy on the ground.
Heavy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Heavy in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Zapata tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Heavy!
