The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Law closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Green quickly recovers to half guard.
Law working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Law lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Law connects with a nice short shot to Green's temple.

Law is nestled in close to Green, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

It looks like Law might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Law is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Green is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Green is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Green knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Law on the ground.

Law escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Law has his foot on Green's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Green works his way back into a safe position though.

Law slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Law has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Law remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Law has hold of Green's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Green manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Law breaks from Green's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Green is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bobby Law has got the better of the ground game so far.

Green wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Law has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Green has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Green is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Law has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Green uses from the top position.

Green is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Law has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Green is looking to defend but Law has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Green! Law pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Green taps out and this one is all over!
