Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Ward (ranked 7295 p4p, 590 weight class) and Mason Norris (ranked 1858 p4p, 235 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ward might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Spazz - Crush Kill Destroy. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Ward.
Ward lands an elbow.
Ward has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ward tries to score with some ground and pound. Norris controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Ward scores with a couple of short elbows.
Norris is looking for a sweep.

Norris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ward. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Norris tries to bench press Ward off him but Ward keeps the position.
The strikes coming from Ward are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Ward connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Norris some visible discomfort.
Norris looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Norris is looking to regain half guard here but Ward keeps moving and retains side control.

Ward scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Norris is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Ward can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
