Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Franklin!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin scores with a one two! Dunlap had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Franklin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dunlap at a distance.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Franklin!
Franklin throws a series of punches but Dunlap moves out of range.
Dunlap is looking to counter the offense by Franklin and move into the clinch.
Franklin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Franklin.


It looks like Mohammad Dunlap has been cut.
Franklin misses with a combination

and Dunlap counters with a takedown into side control.

Franklin sneaks out the side door and pushes Dunlap away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Franklin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dunlap attempts a counter takedown but Franklin avoids it well and moves away.
Franklin throws a series of punches but Dunlap avoids them all with ease.
Dunlap is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dunlap walks into a left hand.
Franklin lands a nice shot that snaps Dunlap's head back.

Franklin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Franklin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dunlap eats them both and turns towards Franklin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Dunlap gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dunlap wants to sweep here but Franklin controlling him for the moment.
Dunlap thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Dunlap is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dunlap is working hard here to advance position.

Dunlap can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Franklin controls the pace.
Franklin wants to get up but he can't break Dunlap's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Franklin stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Franklin lands with a hook. Dunlap tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Franklin lands with a nice body punch.
A jab from Franklin does it's job there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dunlap checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Dunlap has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dunlap there as he acknowledges the shot.
Franklin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dunlap under the eye.

Franklin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Franklin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Franklin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dunlap is trying to defend but Franklin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Dunlap tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Franklin manages to move to mount!
Franklin controlling the pace for now.
Dunlap wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Good control from Franklin.
Dunlap is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Franklin has good solid back control here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Franklin keeps control of the position as Dunlap tries to break free.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Franklin dominated that round.

That's time! Dunlap's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Franklin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Franklin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Franklin scores with a punch to the head.
Dunlap takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dunlap takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Franklin bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Frank Franklin seems to be getting the better of the standup.

so Dunlap counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Franklin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dunlap controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Dunlap throws a big right hand that misses.
Franklin is adopting a defensive guard.
Dunlap postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Dunlap stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Franklin punishes Dunlap's body with a nice straight punch.
Nice body punch from Franklin.
Franklin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No joy there for Franklin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dunlap changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Franklin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Franklin stands up.

Dunlap fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Franklin, pushing him back against the cage.

Franklin has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Dunlap clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Franklin. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Franklin is riding his opponent, not letting Dunlap buck him off.
Dunlap is trying to get back to his feet but Franklin has full control of the position and if anything, Dunlap has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Franklin wants to control but Dunlap is keeping busy.
What can Dunlap do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
I really don't envy Dunlap right now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Franklin is riding his opponent, not letting Dunlap buck him off.
Franklin is hanging on to Dunlap's back as he tries to escape.
Franklin controls the position.
Dunlap tries to roll but Franklin sticks to his back.
Franklin is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Frank Franklin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Franklin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Franklin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Franklin decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dunlap to his feet.

Franklin is looking for a sweep.
Franklin is still trying to improve position.
Dunlap just content to control the position.
Franklin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dunlap wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Frank Franklin has got the better of the ground game so far.

Dunlap decides to stand back up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Franklin tries to bum rush Dunlap with a series of wild strikes but Dunlap uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Franklin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Franklin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Franklin wants it to stay on the feet.

and Dunlap holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Dunlap tries to pull guard but Franklin forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Franklin tries to get the hooks in deep but Dunlap pushed the leg off.

Franklin is continuing to stall.
Franklin controlling well, preventing Dunlap from escaping the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dunlap is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Franklin.
Dunlap wants to escape the position.
Franklin controlling the position well here. Dunlap rolled but Franklin kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
I really don't envy Dunlap right now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
