Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darren Jacks (ranked 5500 p4p, 471 weight class) and Rueben Draco (ranked 8188 p4p, 583 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Darren Jacks has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Darren Jacks seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draco fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Jacks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Draco sprawls well initially but Jacks persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Jacks's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A looping hook to the body misses from Draco. Jacks does a little dance to reset his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jacks throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Draco was covering up waiting for the punch and Jacks finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Draco got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jacks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Draco has managed to get both his arms back between Jacks's legs - danger averted.

Rueben Draco is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Draco has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
