Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bente Log (ranked 1928 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davon Jonhson (ranked 5422 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Davon Jonhson!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonhson is looking to clinch.
Jonhson looks to land a combination but Log avoids it well.

Log shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Log lands a nice short elbow.
Jonhson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Log controlling the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jonhson is looking to improve his position.
Log thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jonhson's head.

Log wants to pass to mount but Jonhson is defending the position.

Jonhson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Log manages to mount him!

Log jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jonhson manages to avoid the submission attempt.
An elbow from Log crashes against the mat.
Log definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jonhson tries to buck Log off but Log is having none of it.

Log tries for a kimura but Jonhson is defending well.
Log misses with the ground and pound.
Log slows the pace down.

Log tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Log has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Log has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Log is looking to take a break and control but Jonhson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jonhson tries to escape but Log is in control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Log wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jonhson keeps working.

Log tries for a kimura but Jonhson is defending well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jonhson is not content to let Log control the position.
Log working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Jonhson is looking to reverse the position.
Jonhson is letting Log control him for a moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jonhson tries to clinch but Log is having none of it.

Log looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Log controlling the pace.

Bente Log overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bente Log has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davon Jonhson.
Log lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Log lands a hook that snaps the head of Jonhson backwards.

Log is trying to trip Jonhson. He has hold of a leg but Jonhson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Log persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Log is working for a guillotine from mount but Jonhson frees his head quite easily.
Log is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jonhson can do to turn this around?

Log is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jonhson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Well Log has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
