Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kal Bo (ranked 5038 p4p, 415 weight class) and Dre Bly (ranked 7592 p4p, 522 weight class). Bo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Breaking The Habit. Bly has chosen I Want War- Pastor Troy as his entrance music. Dre Bly has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bo misses with a hook

Kal Bo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bly tries to avoid it but Bo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bly to the ground. Bly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bo.
Despite the aggression on Bly's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Bly fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bo looks to land a left hand but Bly moved out of range nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bo tries to close the distance and clinch but Bly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bly goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Bly tries to bum rush Bo with a series of wild strikes but Bo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bly circles away quickly and effectively.

Bo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bly is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

As Bo backs off Bly throws a huge counter combo but Bo manages to avoid it all.

Bo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Bo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Bo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dre Bly dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bly throws a series of punches but Bo moves out of range.
Bo fails to land the takedown.
Bo goes for a double leg but Bly avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bly continues to drive forward.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bly! But no joy.

A little jabbing left from Bly on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Bo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bly did well to prevent Bo getting side control.
Bly wants to get back to his feet.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bo connects with a nice short shot to Bly's temple.

Bo in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bly tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bo!

A very excited looking Kal Bo rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
