Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ranulf Drengot (ranked 3604 p4p, 370 weight class) and Huan Estrados (ranked 6241 p4p, 537 weight class). Estrados is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mark Ronson - Uptown Funk ft. Bruno Mars. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ranulf Drengot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Huan Estrados!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estrados wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Drengot scores with a leg kick.
Estrados throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Estrados takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Drengot defending well as Estrados loads up on a big left hand.
Estrados misses with a double jab.

Drengot drives through and clinches with Estrados against the cage.
Estrados is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Estrados manages to break the clinch.
Estrados attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Estrados moves to clinch but Drengot breaks away

and Drengot counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Estrados wriggles free and stands up.

Drengot closes the distance and pushes Estrados back into the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Drengot is trying to stall.

Estrados breaks the clinch.

Drengot manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Estrados on his heels. He'll look to pass Estrados's guard now, I'm sure.
Drengot throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Drengot missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Estrados wants to stand up but Drengot is controlling him.
Drengot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Drengot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Estrados swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Drengot drops back, looking for a kneebar! Estrados looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Estrados looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Estrados!

Drengot tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Estrados wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Drengot is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Estrados has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Estrados has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Estrados tries a head kick but it misses.
Drengot is looking for a counter combo.
Drengot misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Estrados pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Drengot feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Drengot throws a big right hand that misses.
Drengot looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Drengot throws a strike but Estrados rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Drengot is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Estrados frees his head nicely. Oh but Drengot has switched to an armbar! Estrados is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
