The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy Roy cracks Karatzas with a right hand to the side of the head.
Karatzas doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Roy Roy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Roy Roy clinches with his opponent.
Roy Roy lands with a light punch inside.
Roy Roy lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Roy Roy lands a hook that snaps the head of Karatzas backwards.
Karatzas avoiding damage.
Roy Roy lands a left hand.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Roy Roy as Karatzas tries to tie him up.
Karatzas is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Roy Roy pulls him back up using the underhooks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Karatzas is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Karatzas has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Roy Roy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rey Roy Roy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Makis Karatzas .
Karatzas 's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Karatzas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Roy Roy smiles and moves away.

Roy Roy forces Karatzas back against the cage and clinches.
Karatzas jumps guard but Roy Roy turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Roy Roy lands a shot to the body.

Roy Roy drops Karatzas onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Karatzas is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Karatzas is rocked!

It looks like Makis Karatzas has been cut.
Roy Roy pushes Karatzas against the cage. Roy Roy is working some dirty boxing. Roy Roy pushes off with a quick right hook! Karatzas goes down! Karatzas tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Roy Roy moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rey Roy Roy!
Rey Roy Roy decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
