The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Levi throws a right hand that Escudero ducks under and follows up with a left that Escudero also avoids with ease.
Levi tries to bum rush Escudero with a series of wild strikes but Escudero uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Levi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Escudero circles away quickly and effectively.

Escudero shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Escudero showed some decent athleticism there.

Escudero is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Escudero should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Escudero is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Levi can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Levi is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
