Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass avoids a kick to the body.
The Trickster fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bass is out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Bass misses the target.

Bass gets the takedown into side control.
The Trickster regains half guard.

Bass is working for a submission of some sort.
The Trickster punching from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Trickster tries to get to full guard but Bass has control of the leg.
The Trickster has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bass is working away from the top position though.

Bass thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
The Trickster throws a push kick but Bass slaps the foot to one side.
Bass tries to counter with a takedown but The Trickster is quick to defend against it.

The Trickster takes the fight into the clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The Trickster is struggling to control the position.
Bass jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as The Trickster walks away with a smile on his face. Bass gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The Trickster closes the distance and clinches.

The Trickster has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bass uses from the top position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bass accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The Trickster is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The Trickster works his foot free and advances to mount.
Bass wants to hold on but The Trickster pushes him away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, The Trickster cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The Trickster moves into the clinch successfully.

It looks like Calvin Bass has been cut.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Bass has The Trickster pushed against the cage.
Bass seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Bass has a couple of punches blocked by The Trickster.
Bass tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
The Trickster has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The Trickster works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Bass uses the cage to get back to his feet.

The Trickster lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bass backwards.

The Trickster breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The Trickster throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The Trickster slows the pace down in half guard.
Bass trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

The referee warns Bass that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The Trickster wants to stand but Bass is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

Calvin Bass's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The Trickster postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bass looks a forlorn figure.
The Trickster is looking to stand but Bass has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Bass is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. The Trickster locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Bass is forced to tap!
