Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny DeCoco (ranked 22050 p4p, 490 weight class) and John Nordquist (ranked 2364 p4p, 228 weight class). Nordquist has chosen Hard Rock Hallelujah as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nordquist turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Nordquist swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

DeCoco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Nordquist is looking to stand back up but DeCoco counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Nordquist.

DeCoco wants to get back to his feet.
DeCoco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nordquist keeps working.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nordquist is trying to control but can't.
DeCoco thows a huge punch but Nordquist dodges it nicely.

DeCoco wants to pass the guard but Nordquist is defending well.

DeCoco goes for a cartwheel guard pass here but Nordquist does a handstand and catches DeCoco in mid air with a triangle! Could it be? It is! It's the triple decker pecker wrecker! The fighters land on the ground with Nordquist on top - DeCoco is already out from the submission! Nordquist gives DeCoco's pecker the obligatory post submission twist and this one is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall over! Are you kidding me! That is world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That guy is my hero!
