PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Assan Karim Chorr (ranked 4837 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juliano Esquivel (ranked 3212 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chorr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Esquivel paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Esquivel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chorr ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Esquivel jumps guard but Chorr stands there with Esquivel around his waist. Esquivel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Chorr creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Esquivel quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Chorr has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Esquivel celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
