Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Braylin Timmon (ranked 1517 p4p, 66 weight class) and Johannes Brahms (ranked 1607 p4p, 69 weight class). Brahms has chosen Hungarian Dance as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmon takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Brahms has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Timmon is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Timmon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brahms paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Timmon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Some bone on bone action there as Timmon checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A little feinted left hand from Timmon on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Brahms manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Timmon on his heels. He'll look to pass Timmon's guard now, I'm sure.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brahms is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brahms is pulling down on Timmon's head to control his posture.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Brahms is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Well Brahms has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
