Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Lake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Cobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lake comes to the cage accompanied by The Gears. Cobra is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Enter Sandman. Jackson Lake has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Black Cobra!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobra throws a combination. Lake tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


It looks like Jackson Lake has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Lake as Cobra shoots in.
Lake fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Lake feints and as Cobra raises his hands in defense, Lake changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Lake drops back looking for a leg! Cobra is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cobra manages to kick Lake off! Lake jumps back into Cobra's guard.
Cobra is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cobra tries to close the distance and clinch but Lake swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lake keeps the fight on the outside.
Lake avoids a punch combination nicely.

Cobra misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Lake shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lake showed some decent athleticism there.

Lake is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Cobra prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lake misses with a punch to the body.

BOOM! Lake connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Cobra trying desperately to get to his feet.

Lake goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cobra is on top in guard.

Cobra gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Lake looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cobra!

Lake is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Cobra is forced to tap! Great finish!
