The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Van Der Woodsen shoots in and gets a takedown into Winston's guard.

Winston is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Van Der Woodsen presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Van Der Woodsen is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Winston off and has taken his back!

Van Der Woodsen looking to break Winston's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Winston remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Van Der Woodsen will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Van Der Woodsen has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Winston is in real trouble here. Van Der Woodsen gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Winston is tapping out! Van Der Woodsen wins by rear naked choke!

In his post fight interview, Eric Van Der Woodsen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
