Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zangief Smashterov (ranked 2801 p4p, 115 weight class) and Kenrick Nikil Jr (ranked 4207 p4p, 161 weight class). Smashterov comes to the cage accompanied by Rock you like a hurricane-by THE SCORPIONS. Nikil Jr is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dark Horse - Andrew Baena. The key to victory for Zangief Smashterov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smashterov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Smashterov throws a head kick but Nikil Jr moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nikil Jr. Smashterov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nikil Jr cracks Smashterov with a good jab.

It looks like Zangief Smashterov has been cut.
Nikil Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Smashterov tries to sprawl out of it but Nikil Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smashterov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Smashterov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nikil Jr. That did some damage!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smashterov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

It looks like Kenrick Nikil Jr has been cut.

Nikil Jr closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nikil Jr has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Smashterov defend it? Nikil Jr steps over the head and cranks it - Smashterov is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Nikil Jr!
