Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddy (ranked 6694 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Marley (ranked 3458 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric Marley is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Marley with that takedown attempt.
lands a right hook to the body.
lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marley circles away quickly and effectively.

Marley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Marley working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marley on the ground.
Marley tries to score with some ground and pound. controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Marley cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Marley can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as is looking to escape.
tries to get back to half guard but can't.

tries to lock up and control but Marley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Marley has control of 's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Marley is landing with some decent strikes but is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
