Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Danger (ranked 5713 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ali Zayed Abdulrakhman (ranked 5911 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdulrakhman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Danger swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Danger wants to stand up but Abdulrakhman is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Let's hope that Abdulrakhman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like Abdulrakhman might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Danger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Abdulrakhman as he avoids it easily.

Danger has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Abdulrakhman is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Danger is trying to pull guard but Abdulrakhman has him pressed against the cage.

Danger is trying to drag Abdulrakhman to the mat but Abdulrakhman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Danger is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Danger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Danger circles away from the clinch attempt.
Abdulrakhman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Abdulrakhman looks to land a body kick but Danger moved away.
Danger will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Danger is looking to take this one to the mat.
Danger has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Abdulrakhman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Danger is breathing heavily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Abdulrakhman is trying to pull guard but Danger turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Danger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Danger lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Abdulrakhman backs up against the cage.
Abdulrakhman throws a body kick that misses.
Abdulrakhman wants to clinch up but Danger keeps it at a distance.
Danger closes the distance and clinches up with Abdulrakhman, looking for a takedown. Danger pushes Abdulrakhman against the cage but Abdulrakhman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Danger really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Abdulrakhman fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Danger to the ground. Abdulrakhman is now in Danger's guard.

Danger is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Abdulrakhman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Abdulrakhman postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Danger covers up, he's hurt! Abdulrakhman keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Abdulrakhman and the ref steps in to end the fight! Abdulrakhman can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
