The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz wants to clinch but Klinger slips to the side
enabling Klinger to counter with a crisp jab.
Diaz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Klinger circles away.
Diaz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Despite the aggression on Klinger's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Nice takedown defense from Klinger. No joy for Diaz on that attempt.
Diaz shoots and misses

and Klinger counters with a crisp one two that drops Diaz! Klinger thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Diaz to his feet! Diaz is in big trouble!

Klinger lands a left and a right that send Diaz crashing to the mat, dazed. Klinger thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
