PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ray Bailey (ranked 7127 p4p, 617 weight class) and Ritchie Souza (ranked 2607 p4p, 300 weight class). Bailey comes to the cage accompanied by NWA-Fuck Tha Police. Souza has chosen Gwen Stefani-Luxurious as his entrance music. The key to victory for Ray Bailey has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Bailey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ritchie Souza!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Horrible takedown attempt by Souza or perhaps it was just good defense by Bailey, which made it look bad.
Bailey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Souza swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Souza misses with a wild body shot.
Bailey is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Souza throws a shot from downtown. Bailey moves away and avoids it.
Bailey seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Souza gets a takedown into half guard.

Bailey has one foot on Souza's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Ritchie Souza opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
Ray Bailey spoke after the fight, saying 'i'll be back bigger, better and stronger. I'll fight anybody anywhere bitches'.
