The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Calvin Bass has been cut.

Bass throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rodgers was covering up waiting for the punch and Bass finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Rodgers manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Bass could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Bass tries to pull guard but Rodgers holds him up against the cage and eventually Bass drops back down to his feet.

Bass dives in and grabs Rodgers's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rodgers pushes down on Bass's head and hops out.

I would just about give that final round to Wilson Rodgers.
Well Rodgers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
