Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Albert Aliev (ranked 24409 p4p, 693 weight class) and Eric Draven (ranked 5659 p4p, 554 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Draven's choice of entrance music: Dead Souls. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draven dips to his left and cracks Aliev with an uppercut!
Draven dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Aliev. That did some damage!
Draven lands a lovely overhand right.

Draven throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Aliev's head.
Draven takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Aliev looks to land a left hand but Draven moved out of range nicely.

Aliev does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Draven looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Aliev drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Draven digs a right hand underneath Aliev's ribcage. Aliev let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Draven throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Draven lands a big head kick that sends Aliev tumbling to the mat! Draven takes a step backwards and waves Aliev back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A nice glancing elbow lands by Draven.

Draven creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Aliev with a big uppercut! Aliev tries to clinch up but Draven pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Aliev to the mat! Aliev covers up and Draven unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Eric Draven!
During a confident post fight interview, Eric Draven thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
