The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkele misses with a two punch combination.
Perkele throws a series of punches but Smith moves out of range.

It looks like Phil Smith has been cut.
Perkele tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Perkele.

Smith drives through with a takedown into guard.
Perkele really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Perkele wants to stand and escape but Smith is having none of it.
Smith slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Smith has an Americana. Perkele didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Smith is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Smith hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
