Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Furious Munchkin (ranked 2659 p4p, 138 weight class) and Alan Markov (ranked 4159 p4p, 214 weight class). Markov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jay Bling - Aye kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Alan Markov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Markov.
Markov lands a head shot.

Munchkin gets a clinch.

Munchkin tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Markov is trying to break the clinch but Munchkin has him pressed against the cage.
Munchkin takes a shot to the head.
Markov is trying to break free.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Munchkin as Markov tries to tie him up.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Munchkin.
Munchkin throws a punch but it's blocked by Markov.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Markov wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Munchkin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Markov uses from the top position.
