Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Amfm Punk!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibbs lands a jab to Punk's midsection.
Punk slips a jab and a cross from Gibbs.
Gibbs jabs at Punk's body.
Gibbs swings widly with a right hand
and Punk counters with a nice uppercut.
Gibbs throws a hook to the side of Punk's head but Punk sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gibbs throws a series of punches but Punk moves out of range.
Gibbs misses with a combination
and Punk counters with a left to the body.
Gibbs keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Punk.
Gibbs throws a big counter combination but Punk scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gibbs throws a chopping leg kick but Punk manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Punk looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Gibbs misses with a jab to the body
and Gibbs takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gibbs. Punk does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gibbs lands a nice shot that snaps Punk's head back.

Punk misses with an uppercut.
Punk lands a left and a right that send Gibbs crashing to the mat, dazed. Punk thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Gibbs is rocked!
It looks like Mister Gibbs has been cut.
Punk attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Oh Gibbs is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Punk throws a right and a left that Gibbs avoids nicely.
Gibbs seems to have got his legs back now.
Punk swinging wildly here.
Punk slips a straight right by Gibbs.
Punk doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Punk misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
An attempted straight right counter from Gibbs misses the target.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gibbs connects with a single shot there.
Good shot there by Punk.
Punk tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gibbs was well out of range. Poor timing from Punk.
It looked like Gibbs wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Gibbs definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Punk takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Gibbs throws out a powerful jab.
Gibbs misses with a body shot.
Some wild striking there from Gibbs.
Punk throws a lazy uppercut
and Gibbs counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gibbs scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

and Punk counters with a stiff right hand.
Punk misses with a looping left.
Gibbs misses the jab.

Punk drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Gibbs throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gibbs throws a lazy right hand but Punk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gibbs fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gibbs misses with an uppercut
and Punk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Punk throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Gibbs to counter with a crisp jab.
Gibbs misses with an uppercut
and Punk counters with a crisp right hand that drops Gibbs! Punk lets Gibbs back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Punk fakes the body blow, causing Gibbs to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Gibbs goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
