Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chief Foot (ranked 3629 p4p, 133 weight class) and Zangief Smashterov (ranked 2867 p4p, 111 weight class). Smashterov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rock you like a hurricane-by THE SCORPIONS. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foot misses with a looping left.
Smashterov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Foot swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Smashterov lands a nice shot that snaps Foot's head back.
Smashterov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Foot thows a left - swing and a miss!
Smashterov thows a body kick. Foot tries to catch it but that hurt him.
A jab from Foot misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Smashterov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Chief Foot has been cut.
Foot tries to clinch up but Smashterov circles away and keeps his distance.
Smashterov moves out of range as Foot strikes.
Smashterov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The fighters circling - Foot throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Chief Foot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Foot connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Zangief Smashterov has been cut.
Foot tries to close the distance and clinch but Smashterov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smashterov shapes to counter with a head kick.
Foot bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smashterov's head backwards.
Smashterov has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Smashterov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Foot instigates a clinch.

Foot blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Foot scores with a shoulder strike.
Foot lands with a short shot to the head.
Smashterov misses with a short punch on the inside.
Smashterov is trying to stall.
Foot lands a left hand that snaps the head of Smashterov backwards.
Smashterov is trying to stall.
Smashterov swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Foot swings wildly with an uppercut but Smashterov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Foot struggles to land a body shot inside as Smashterov controls his hands.
Smashterov is trying to break the clinch but Foot has him pressed against the cage.
Smashterov tries to circle away but Foot has him pinned against the cage.
Foot scores with a nice hook to the head.

Smashterov breaks from the clinch.

Still in the clinch, Foot scores with a nice short uppercut.

Foot lands a nice shot to the body.
Foot stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Smashterov looks winded!
A nice left hand lands by Foot.

Foot lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Smashterov tries to break free but Foot pushes him back against the cage.

Foot pushes Smashterov back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Foot lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Foot lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Smashterov.

That has opened up Zangief Smashterov's cut even more.
Foot pushes Smashterov against the cage. Foot is working some dirty boxing. Foot pushes off with a quick right hook! Smashterov goes down! Smashterov tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Foot moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chief Foot!
Chief Foot took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
Zangief Smashterov was interviewed post fight and said 'Bwahahaha I will see you again unfortunately for you.'.
