Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mad Clown (ranked 5952 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Hardy (ranked 9225 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Hardy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardy instigates a clinch.
Clown fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Clown tries to pull guard but Hardy forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Clown is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hardy can't fight it off and eventually Clown manages to take the fight to the floor. Hardy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Clown trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Clown is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hardy keeping moving, preventing Clown from controlling successfully.
Hardy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Clown passes Hardy's left leg - he's now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clown is trying for a kimura here. Hardy looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Clown wins by kimura!
