And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeshi Watanabe!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ueda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Watanabe as he jumps to the side.
Watanabe slaps away a takedown attempt from Ueda, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Ueda rushes Watanabe and presses him up against the cage.

Ueda jumps guard and drags Watanabe to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Watanabe trying to control but Ueda is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Watanabe is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ueda has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Watanabe is looking to defend but Ueda has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Watanabe! Ueda pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Watanabe taps out and this one is all over!
