Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vegetarian Vampire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vampire is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Divino - Soy Un Simple Bandolero. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis fails with an attempt to clinch.
Davis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vampire but Vampire pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Vampire throws a push kick but Davis slaps the foot to one side.

Davis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Vampire.
Davis slows down the pace here.

Davis pulls Vampire into guard.
Vampire wants to stand and escape but instead Davis has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Davis wants to pass the guard but Vampire is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis postures up and lands a big shot to Vampire's brow.

Vampire is looking to stand back up but Davis counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Vampire.

Davis happy to just control the position for now.

Davis stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Vampire lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Davis darts in and clinches Vampire up against the cage.
Davis tries for a takedown. No joy.
Vampire works on Davis's body with a couple of short punches.

Vampire breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Vampire wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Davis has him pressed against the cage.
A right hand to the body from Vampire.
Davis wants to stall.

Vampire manages to break the clinch.

Davis drives through with a takedown into guard.

Davis is breathing heavily.

Davis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Vampire is looking to stand up but Davis isn't so interested in that idea.
Vampire is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Davis seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Vampire for as long as he can get away with.
Vampire is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Davis is controlling him.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Davis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Davis slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Davis tries for a kimura but Vampire is defending well.
Vampire tries to improve position but can't.
Vampire taking punishment in the form of punches.
Davis advances to full mount.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyler Davis dominated that round.

Vampire misses with a looping right.
Vampire blocks a head kick by Davis.
Davis misses with a few strikes there.
Vampire tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Davis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vampire won't be happy with that.

Vampire is looking to get back to his feet here but Davis is keeping cool and he's managed to take Vampire's back.

Davis is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Vampire has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Vampire can't escape the position.
Good control from Davis.

Davis sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Vampire taps out!
