Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hirmu Hikka (ranked 6596 p4p, 588 weight class) and Isaac Frye (ranked 6830 p4p, 593 weight class). Frye is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bombshell. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frye walks into a left hand.

Frye closes the distance and clinches.
Hikka is trying to pull guard but Frye has him pressed against the cage.
Frye tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Frye throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hikka blocks it with crossed arms.
Hikka takes a shot to the head.
Hikka tries to pull guard but Frye forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Hikka blocks the elbow strike.
Hikka jumps guard but Frye stands there with Hikka around his waist. Hikka gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hirmu Hikka. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Frye breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hikka scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Hikka misses with an uppercut.
Frye lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Frye throws a low kick, looking for Hikka's leg but Hikka calmly moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Frye walks into a straight right hand from Hikka.
Hikka scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Frye is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hikka.
Hikka cracks Frye with an open hand slap.
Frye tries to clinch up.
Hikka darts in looking for a takedown but Frye gets double underhooks and turns Hikka into the cage.
Hikka gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Frye.
Hikka is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Frye ducks under a wild hook from Hikka.
Frye flashes Hikka a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Hikka's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Hikka crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Frye punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
