Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Lawson (ranked 1347 p4p, 183 weight class) and Finnish Experiment lV (ranked 747 p4p, 99 weight class). Lawson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Wait and Bleed by Slipknot. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Experiment lV moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Experiment lV tries to clinch but Lawson moves out of range.
Experiment lV looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A bone on bone clash there as Lawson blocks the leg kick.
Lawson throws a looping overhand right but Experiment lV ducks down to avoid it.

Nice combo by Experiment lV! Oh, that's hurt him - Lawson falls to the canvas and Experiment lV follows him into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lawson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Experiment lV got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lawson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Experiment lV has managed to get both his arms back between Lawson's legs - danger averted.

Experiment lV manages to reverse the position and now he's in Lawson's guard. Nice work there by Experiment lV.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Experiment lV is on top in guard.

Experiment lV drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Experiment lV jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lawson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Experiment lV should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lawson has tightened it up now! Experiment lV should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
