Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herbert Fliegknecht (ranked 3737 p4p, 475 weight class) and Raghave Upadhyaya (ranked 4651 p4p, 552 weight class). Upadhyaya has chosen Finessin as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Herbert Fliegknecht!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raghave Upadhyaya!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fliegknecht moves into the clinch.

Fliegknecht has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Upadhyaya uses from the top position.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Upadhyaya has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Upadhyaya stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fliegknecht swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Upadhyaya stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fliegknecht swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Upadhyaya won't allow Fliegknecht to sweep him here.

That was a close round but I would say that Herbert Fliegknecht will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

It looks like Raghave Upadhyaya has been cut.
Fliegknecht wants to clinch up but Upadhyaya keeps it at a distance.
Fliegknecht explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Upadhyaya throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fliegknecht appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Fliegknecht throws a head kick but Upadhyaya moves out of range.

Fliegknecht takes the fight into the clinch.

Fliegknecht is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Upadhyaya can do to turn this around?

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Upadhyaya just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fliegknecht's brow.

Upadhyaya wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fliegknecht tries to pull guard but Upadhyaya holds him up against the cage and eventually Fliegknecht drops back down to his feet.
