Morgan comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool - Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Matt Morgan has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has V pinned against the cage. V gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Morgan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Adam V seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Morgan counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Adam V has been cut.
V wants to clinch

and Morgan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Morgan tries to stand but can't do so whilst V controls his leg.
Morgan wants to stand but his hand is trapped. V uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Morgan tries to stand but V is controlling from the bottom.
Morgan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
V will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
V has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Morgan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Morgan is posturing up here but V has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Morgan tries to roll out but it's too tight and Morgan has to tap! Slick submission there by V!
