Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Power Max!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, King Gonawyn!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonawyn gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Max to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Gonawyn is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Max jumps guard but Gonawyn turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Gonawyn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Max is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Max wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Max has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Max could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gonawyn has Max pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gonawyn pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Max tumbling to the mat - Gonawyn dives into Max's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Max thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Max is pulling down on Gonawyn's head. It's preventing any offense from Gonawyn, at least for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gonawyn passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Gonawyn tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Gonawyn grinds an elbow into Max's temple.
It looks like Power Max has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gonawyn lands a nice forearm strike.
Gonawyn is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Max knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Max might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gonawyn tries to move to mount but Max blocks the move with his legs.
Gonawyn is working Max over with some ground and pound from side control.
Max is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gonawyn advances nicely into full mount.
Oooh a big shot lands for Gonawyn! Max is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
