Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Quik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slippery Chimp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quik stuffs the takedown attempt from Chimp. Chimp gets slowly back to his feet.
Chimp fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Chimp throws a nice outside leg kick.

Chimp moves into the clinch successfully.

Quik is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Chimp changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Quik looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Chimp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Quik. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Quik misses with a takedown attempt - Chimp sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Quik fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chimp sprawls well initially but Quik persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Chimp fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Quik looks to score with a jab to the body but Chimp is just out of range.

Chimp shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Quik's guard.

Quik had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Chimp is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Quik Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Chimp's back instead.
