Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ibragim Magomedov!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov moves in looking to clinch but Stroev pushes him off.
Stroev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Stroev lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Stroev is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Magomedov is just riding it out for now. Stroev eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are battling for position here. Magomedov manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Stroev has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Magomedov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Stroev strikes from the bottom but Magomedov uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Stroev misses with a strike from the bottom.
Stroev bucks up and tries to throw Magomedov off but instead Magomedov has got his back!
Magomedov is hanging on to Stroev's back as he tries to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Magomedov is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Stroev has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Magomedov has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Stroev taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Magomedov doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ibragim Magomedov!
