Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bright Heather (ranked 23100 p4p, 719 weight class) and Adlan Aukhadov (ranked 8840 p4p, 636 weight class). This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heather takes a kick to the side of the head.
Heather fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Aukhadov avoids it really well and circles away.

Heather shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Aukhadov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Heather thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Bright Heather will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Heather fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Aukhadov has closed the distance and engaged Heather in a clinch.

Heather jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Aukhadov walks away with a smile on his face. Heather gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Adlan Aukhadov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aukhadov slaps away a takedown attempt from Heather , before circling back to the center of the mat.

Heather uses his free foot to push down on Aukhadov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Aukhadov.

Heather is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Aukhadov has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Heather has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Aukhadov taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Heather doesn't care though - he's delighted!
