Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter Szczawinski (ranked 6048 p4p, 411 weight class) and Xaito Siu (ranked 8631 p4p, 475 weight class). Peter Szczawinski looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Peter Szczawinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xaito Siu!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Siu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A low kick from Siu is predictable there
and Szczawinski counters with a nice low kick that buckles Siu's knee momentarily.
Siu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Siu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Szczawinski has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Main Event in the buildup to the fight.
Szczawinski tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Siu defends well and Szczawinski ends up having to push Siu into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Siu fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
As Siu looks to move away, Szczawinski throws a big counter combo but Siu just gets out of the way.
Siu lands a nice shot to the body.
Siu shoots for a takedown but Szczawinski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Peter Szczawinski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xaito Siu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Siu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Szczawinski as he jumps to the side.
Siu shoots in but no luck this time.
Szczawinski clinches up with Siu and pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Szczawinski breaks the clinch.
Siu shoots in looking for a takedown but Szczawinski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Siu's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Siu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Szczawinski pinned against the cage. Szczawinski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Siu looks winded!
Siu wants to clinch
enabling Szczawinski to counter with a crisp jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Siu darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Siu looks to clinch
and Szczawinski counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Xaito Siu has been cut.
Szczawinski fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Siu to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Siu looks to clinch but Szczawinski throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Siu taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
